Financial Planning is just like building your own home. All
of the same questions could be asked of your financial situation
and plans. Just as most people would like their home to be
one in which they are happy and safe, you should feel the
same about your financial planning. Reassured that the right
‘materials’ have been used and that it will stand

We are the ‘architects’ who have helped and
advised our clients to build for their financial future. A
combination of hi-tec research tools and our experience in
the market ensures that we are able to offer our clients access

Our advice is based on encouraging clients to plan ahead,
to create wealth and to safeguard what they have already achieved
,just by helping them to make the best of what they have.
By working with you, we can help to plan for the right amount
of money to be made available, paid to the person who needs
it most, at the time it is wanted or needed. For example;
Having the right amount of income, at the time you want to
retire. Making sure you or your family has adequate provision
should you encounter problems, or simply to make money available
for a special event such as an anniversary or children’s
21st Birthdays.
The big C word – commitment - doesn’t frighten
us. We are committed to working with our clients for mutual
long term benefits. Our Director has been working with her
clients since 1992, and many of our clients have been with
her since then.
We are not interested in doing an ‘odd job’ for
people, such as arrange a plan and then fade away. (If that
is what you want, we are definitely not the company for you!)
We want to work with clients on a continuous basis, with reviews
and communication an essential part of our client care.
A point worth noting – 97% of our new clients come
to us via a referral from one of our existing clients, who
are clearly happy to recommend our services. Proof of the

Holds Full Financial Planning Certificate (FPC) and The
Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice. (CeMAP) |
| Has worked as a personal
financial adviser since 1992, where she worked originally
with Allied Dunbar. Karen became an Independent adviser
in 1995 and has remained in the Independent sector of
financial services since then, specialising in personal
financial planning. |
| Karen plays hockey
for Wigan Ladies Hockey Club and has also represented
her county, Lancashire. She has captained both her club
team and Lancashire team. She is also a level 2 qualified
coach and level 1 umpire in her chosen sport. Apart from
hockey, Karen is a sports fan in general, but loves to
watch football in particular. |
| Karen owns two (very
naughty) Gordon Setters, which she shows for fun, but
only very occasionally. Both have qualified for Crufts
in previous years. |
Karen’s two key assistants are Debbie and Sharon,
who work closely with her to provide administration support,
but more importantly, client care.
Sharon has worked at Cadeslake for over 3 years now, and
Debbie joined in 2002. They both have experience of nurturing
Cadeslake Clients through stressful times, often related to
mortgages and moving house. They each possess quite a wicked
sense of humour, which is essential to cope with the demands
made by the boss !
